2017 Nevada Archery Mule Deer with Randy Newberg (Part 6)

To start the 2017 fall hunting season, Randy Newberg is off to Nevada for his public land archery mule deer hunt where he will be joined by his buddy, Nevada resident and regular TV guest, Scott Jones. Randy filled his first archery mule deer tag a few years back, but since then Randy has failed on three consecutive Nevada archery tags. This hunt was filmed in August 2017. This day by day account will take viewers along every step of the way. Day 5 has Randy and the crew back on the trail of the buck he hit on Day 3. ON Day 4, the buck was spotted and disappeared into a big sea of tall sage. On this day, the buck is absent, not following the other bucks that are repeating the same pattern. Given that fact, Scott and one camera guy, Michael, walk all likely areas a wounded buck would go to die, hoping to find the buck or push it past Randy who is set up along the trail the bucks have been using every morning and evening. Randy has a motto - when a buck is hit, all others are forsaken. Randy is intent on finding this buck, whether dead or alive, and ending his hunt with this buck. No matter what other bucks are found, Randy will only chase this buck. In spite of some serious hiking and gridding, the buck is completely absent on this day.
