2016 MET Art Week: Elementary School Orchestra

Art Week is the MET's annual week-long celebration of the Arts. Our Visual and Performing Arts departments immerse our school community with student exhibitions and performances! -- Performing Arts at the MET At the MET we believe that artistic exploration and imaginative thinking is crucial for a complete education. The MET's music program strongly emphasizes a student-centered experience. We provide instructive and performance opportunities for our students of all ages, adapted to the students' levels of expertise, skill and stylistic interest. Our teachers, with ample experience in music education, coach and inspire students the love for musical expression and mastery. Our performing arts program is incorporated into the curriculum. Students begin their music formation at a young age with our youngest Preschool students, gaining the foundations of sound and rhythm for instrumetal preparation.
