How does the Kia Soul stack up against the Leaf, 500E, i-Miev, Spark EV, and e-Golf? Of the EVs tested it has the longest range of 93 miles, thanks the largest battery of 27 kWh. Though 120V charging is slow, 240V charging is on pace with the competition, and it can fast charge to 80% in 33 minutes. It’s significantly heavier than the Spark EV, 500E, and i-Miev, but on par with the Leaf. Horsepower is on the low end, but peak torque is higher than all but the Spark EV. The vehicle ties for the highest drag coefficient of the bunch, alongside the i-Miev. MSRP is also on the high end, similar in pricing to the e-Golf.
