When children in the Delaware Valley are sick or injured, their families turn to Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Kids come to us facing cancer, orthopedic issues, heart defects and life-threatening injuries. Nemours/duPont Hospital for Children offers advanced inpatient and outpatient pediatric care in more than 30 specialties, and includes Delaware's only Pediatric Trauma Center. The Nemours team treats every child as we would do our own, with expert, compassionate medical care. In all that we do, we strive to provide an environment that is convenient and conducive to physical and emotional healing for children and families. We are excited to announce that as of November 2014, the newly expanded hospital is open. Our focus remains on family-centered care, from the single-patient rooms to gathering places filled with color and natural light. The 10th annual gala to benefit Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is one of the most anticipated social gatherings of the year. Often described as “the best party in Wilmington,” the gala took place on the magnificent grounds of Nemours Mansion and Gardens on June 19, 2015. Through donations and event participation for A Night at Nemours — our annual fundraising gala, the community has helped raise funds for service lines including oncology, cardiac, orthopedics, solid organ transplant and emergency services, among others. The proceeds from the 10th annual A Night at Nemours will continue to support the children who come to us for help. Thank you for caring as much as we do. For more information about the gala and other events hosted by Nemours Fund for Children’s Health, please contact Tracy Weaver at (302) 651-4383 or [email protected].
