$20 Ikea Hoopskirt | Budget Lolita

There's a children's costume at Ikea RIGHT NOW (it may go away soon) that has a hoop skirt which can fit adults looking for an affordable alternative to purchasing a professionally-made one. The benefit here is that this Hoop Skirt only costs $20 USD (average cost is usually $70 - $100 for a steel-hoop skirt), however; it isn't perfect out of the package. This is my honest unboxing / first impressions of something that may be worth it to Lolitas dying in the summer heat. Btw, sorry for the Ita face! Instead of practicing in the shadows, I thought it might be good to show off how I am now just beginning to play with make-up; to show the progression over time. If you have any con crit about my face I would love to hear it (No, honestly, it's a clown cake face at this point!). UPDATE: After having worn this hoop skirt to Anime Expo (I cut off the third ring), I can safely say that this CAN work for Lolita but you will have to adjust it. It was very comfortable to wear the entire day, but I feel that for my body shape I will need to take in the bottom ring (which use to be the middle ring) so my skirt hem will not be so wide. For bigger girls this will likely not be an issue and it will likely need less adjusting.
