2 children bitten in possible shark attacks off Fire Island

Fire Island beaches on the ocean were closed for the day while authorities investigate after two young people were bitten by possible sharks on Wednesday afternoon. The two attacks took place in the surf on Fire Island within half a mile of one another less than an hour apart. N.J.
