1GHz transmitter and receiver. The transmitter has a PLL synthesizer with modulation at the reference oscillator. The output of the PLL is amplified and transmittied with a monopole antenna. The receiver uses a patch antenna followed by a narrowband filter and an LNA. The output of the LNA can be demodulated directly or mixed down to an IF.
