We first saw the Fender Relics at the 2005 Winter NAMM show and immediately ordered them for our shop. Vince Cunetto was responsible for bringing this concept to Fender in the first place, and he worked as a contractor for fender for 4 1/2 years aging the bodies, necks and parts. In May '99 Fender chose to age these guitars in house. This is one of those first guitars and they turned to John Cruz and his team as he had worked on many of the guitars that Cunetto had aged.
