1985 Sanyo Betacord VCR4020 repairs and demonstration

I've owned this Beta vcr since 1992, and used it regularly until around 2002 when it got put in storage. I got it back out a few years ago, and the lack of use took it's toll on the belts, and idler. Problems it had were no fast forward, reverse, and the tape wouldn't retract from the tape path when stop was pressed, so unfortunately a damaged a couple of tapes. Also the tracking pot somehow got damaged, and I had to epoxy the contacts back on the shaft. After installing a a new belt kit, repairing the tracking pot, and cleaning inside and out, I'm happy with the performance of this machine. The only part not working is the remote because I left the batteries in it for all those years. I'll take it apart to see if I can repair it. For entertainment, I'm no expert!
