It is now 7 months since I did P90X and I have been two months into a bulk, using Dr. Layne Norton's PHAT (Power Hypertrophy Adaptive Training) as a guideline. I got a little sloppy with my diet, so I will be the first to admit my physique is not what it once was. I will regain it when I do another cut using P90X this winter.
Rather than continue my fitness "lectures," I wanted to get some footage of me doing a back hypertrophy workout. I typically don't do 100 pullups to start a workout, but I wanted to do something different and give the 100 pullup challenge a try. Granted my form is not perfect in these, but I enjoy working out so this was fun to do.
In between sets, I talk about things like the importance of a heart rate monitor, setting goals for yourself, my possible use in a P90X infomercial, and taking on Tony Horton's concern that sugar is toxic and consuming sugar is equivalent to "suicide." His words, not mine.
