The US Capitol Police arrested a man carrying multiple weapons in his truck outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington DC, Monday.
Officers pulled over a Dodge Dakota pickup truck, painted with a swastika and other white supremacist symbols, and without a licence plate, around midnight. The 44-year old driver had in his vehicle a bayonet and a machete, which are illegal weapons in DC.
The arrest comes as the police are reportedly bracing for an upcoming right-wing rally on Saturday in the US capital.
