Footage filmed by a Tennessee resident in Waverly on Saturday showed the dire situation following unexpected torrential rainfall which led to disastrous flash floods. Over 40cm of water fell within a 24 hour period.
22 people have tragically died as a result of the flood, with a further 20 still missing, local reports state.
