USA: 7,000 evacuees airlifted from Afghanistan in five days - Pentagon

He spoke at a press conference at the Pentagon, in Arlington on Thursday.
Taylor added that over 5,200 US military personnel are currently on the ground and have secured Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport amid the Taliban’s takeover.
