Ten nations from around the world, including the USA, France, Canada and Australia, participated in a naval military exercise over the weekend.

For the highlight event, the so-called SINKEX, the various countries set their sights on the USS Durham, a decommissioned ex-military cargo ship in the Pacific.

The biannual RIMPAC is the 27th exercise in the series that began in 1971.

Over the course of the month 5,000 personnel, 22 ships and one submarine took part in the event designed to foster and sustain cooperative partnerships and support a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
