"Saltmen" from 7th century on display at German Mining Museum in Bochum

The German Mining Museum in Bochum has several ‘saltmen’ on display for a special exhibition, as seen on Friday.
The remains were found in a salt mine in Iran preserved in salt and give insights into how people lived in the 7th century.
Along with the preserved remains are other archeological finds such as pieces of clothing, tools and pottery.
