People flooded Red Square to enjoy festive New Year atmosphere in Moscow on Sunday.
The footage shows people riding carousel, skating and having fun at the traditional Christmas GUM Fair. Some visitors can be seen sliding down the slope near the walls of the Moscow Kremlin.
A QR code system for attending mass events and mask regime in public places is still in force in Moscow.

Persons aged 60 years and above, as well as those with chronic diseases and not vaccinated must comply with lockdown restrictions.
According to Russia’s coronavirus task force, 1,824 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Moscow on Sunday, 69 people died.
