A real super-sized version of popular Japanese animation character ‘Gundam’ is preparing to make its public debut.

The 18-metre tall robot will take centre stage at an exhibition at the Gundam factory in Yokohama.

The robot was built to mark the 40th anniversary of the TV series ‘Mobile Suit Gundam’.
