Poland: Eight injured as Berlin-bound train derails near border

Eight people were injured as the train partly derailed. Two carriages of the DB Regional train from Szczecin to Berlin derailed at about 6:30 a.m. local time.
Authorities said that the truck missed a red light when it entered the crossing, and the driver reported that he had been blinded by the sun. The crash is currently under investigation.
The eight injured people received medical attention on-site and were released, no serious injuries were reported.
