Pakistani authorities have established a special rollerblading police unit.

Sindh Police’s Special Security Unit are training with the skates to curb crime in Karachi.

Conventional police vehicles cannot drive through the narrow lanes in the heavily populated city.

The rollerblading police have followed in the footsteps of similar units in Europe.

The unit have already been deployed to work outside the Pakistan Super League cricket tournament, and will later be deployed around around the city and its shopping centres.
