A cargo ship has been stranded just off the coast of Karachi, reportedly after running aground due to bad weather.

According to the Karachi Port Trust, the 98-metre (321 feet) MV Heng Tong 77 started drifting towards shallow waters at the Karachi shoreline after losing its anchors.

It is currently unclear what cargo the ship is carrying.
