New tests of China’s large solid rocket engine

A solid rocket engine, with a diameter of 3.2 meters, was tested in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, northwest China, on 30 December 2020. Developed by the Academy of Aerospace Solid Propulsion Technology under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, this is China’s most powerful rocket booster engine, so far.
