Missing Actor Julian Sands Confirmed Dead After Body is Identified

Police have confirmed that the body found by hikers in California on Saturday is that of Julian Sands.

The British actor went missing in the San Gabriel Mountains in January.

Bad weather and the threat of avalanches hampered search efforts at the time.

Julian Sands, 65, accrued more than 150 film and TV credits spanning his 40 year career.

He was probably best known for his leading role in the Oscar winning 1985 film ‘A Room with a View’.

Last week Julian’s family thanked the authorities for their search efforts, and praised him for being a ‘wonderful father, husband, explorer’ and performer.
