UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow enters its second day on Monday, November 1, with the beginning of World Leaders Summit.

The 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) kicked off with an opening plenary on Sunday, 31 October.

Under the UK presidency, together with Italy, the COP26 set four main goals: To secure global net-zero by mid-century and keep 1.5 degrees Celsius within reach, to adapt to protect communities and natural habitats, to mobilise finance and work together in order to make the Paris Agreement operational.
