Ruptly is live from Glasgow on Friday, November 5, as protesters led by activist Greta Thunberg take to the streets of the Scottish cityunder the motto ‘COP26 Strike for Climate Justice’ to urge world leaders and other participants of the ongoing UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26)​ to take the necessary measures to stem the climate crisis.

The protest has been called by the Fridays for Future activists as part of efforts to reach an agreement on how to tackle climate change. Leaders from around the world, alongside business and civic representatives, are arriving in Scotland for 12 days of talks to create collaboration between governments, businesses and civil society.
