North Korea has marked the 68th anniversary of the end of the Korean War in July 1953.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un laid a single red rose at the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery in the capital Pyongyang.

North Korea claims it won the three-year war that it says the United States started, contrary to the view of most historians outside the country.
