Six years after the Paris and Saint-Denis terrorist attacks which left 130 dead and 350 wounded, commemorations were held this Saturday.

In front of a commemorative plaque outside the Bataclan theatre, residents were seen paying their respects to those who died in the attacks.

“It’s a way for me to pay homage, to think of them (the victims) quite simply, that’s it, because they are no longer of this world, the poor, and those who remain suffer enormously too,” said Martine after paying respect to the victims.

Flowers are also seen placed near two other terraces: Brasserie Cafe Bonne Biere and the restaurant Casa Nostra in the Rue de la Fontaine au Roi.

A huge security deployment with the presence of numerous police officers was seen in the district.

Ninety people were killed at the Bataclan concert hall, in Paris, on November 13, 2015 when a group of men carried out a series of coordinated attacks in the French capital, killing a combined 130 people in six locations.

A cell of the self-proclaimed Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attacks. A trial is ongoing.
