‘Driver Throws ‘Chemical’ at NYPD Cop During Traffic Stop GONE WRONG’

A man was taken into custody on Saturday night in New York after reportedly throwing a “chemical” at a police officer during a traffic stop and then allegedly hurling a Molotov cocktail at the police vehicle.

“Today, a vehicle stop for running a red light proved once again that no traffic enforcement is “routine.”

When approached, the driver doused a cop with a chemical before fleeing, tossing a Molotov cocktail — and finally being arrested. Fortunately, our officers weren’t injured,” the NYPD said.

Police are reported to have found three other Molotov cocktails in the suspect’s vehicle.
