Dog rescued from meat trade finds forever home

Mork narrowly escaped death twice (Mork - Dog rescued from meat trade in China). His life started in China, where he was destined for the meat trade. After being rescued from a meat truck by Harbin SHS, the incredibly weak pup was rushed to an emergency animal hospital and pulled back from the brink of death. Soon after, the dog was brought to the U.S and adopted by the founder of Road Dogs & Rescue, the organization responsible for his transport. Mork does have some lingering health problems due to bad breeding, but they haven’t stopped him from being sweet and friendly. Those issues also don’t keep him from doing what he loves most, playing with his dog friends and lounging around in the sun.
 
What exact breed he is remains unclear, but it is widely agreed that he bears a strong resemblance to Baby Yoda. His human has opted against using DNA testing to find out, as she fears others will try to breed a Mork of their own, regardless of the health risks.
