The sculpture of a Black Lives Matter protester has been removed in less than 24 hours in Bristol.

The sculpture of Jen Reid was erected on the plinth where the statue of slave trader Edward Colston stood before being toppled during an anti-racism protest.

Bristol City Council said the sculpture of Ms Reid was removed at its request, and would be held at its museum “for the artist to collect or donate to our collection”.
