“100,000 Sign Petition for Geronimo the Alpaca”

Geronimo the alpaca is being sentenced to death by the British government after testing positive for bovine tuberculosis twice.

His owner is disputing the test results, claiming they’re false positives and a petition to save the alpaca has reached almost 100,000 signatures.

While protesters have staged a march to Downing Street and even the prime minister’s father has joined the campaign to save Geronimo.

The veterinary nurse who breeds the animals said she was prepared to be arrested as she waits for a contractor to come and execute the animal.
